Golden Globes Predictions

Another year. Another Golden Globes ceremony happening much sooner than I expected. It's time for me to make a few picks for how it's going to go. Like every year, I want to make a few points first.

-I sincerely don't research these picks. The Golden Globes are far too stupid/unpredictable to think you know which way they are going. There are no precursor awards to figure out which way they are swinging. It's only through weird luck that they got as big as they have.

-If there is a trick to picking it's to find the hottest trending movie or show, go for the shiny new actor/actress, and in the case of television, be the first to award something before the Emmys. Or, more simply, who do they want to see walk up to accept an award? Even more simply, they're star-fuckers. It it what it is.

-Don't think that the Golden Globes mean anything to the Oscars. I've checked, there's no special correlation. A Globe can't hurt along the way, but don't think it'll make anyone a lock to win later.

-I'm watching for Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, and drunk celebrities as anyone should.

Since these are blind guesses, I'm not bothering with more than a tweet of explanation for any pick.
