Delayed Reaction: Congo

The Pitch: Planet of the Apes but we can't call it that, so let's put it in Africa because I think that's where gorillas are.

What Took Me So Long: I never heard anyone talk about this movie ever, which is generally a sign that it should be avoided.

Why I Saw It: (Club 50) Pass

Why I Wish I Hadn't: What in god's name was this? All I came away with was a flurry of gray gorillas, blue diamonds, Bruce Campbell and Tim Curry. I'm not sure why any of the characters' stories bring them together beyond "we are making a movie and these are the characters we want to have in it".

Verdict (?): Strongly Don't Recommend
