Verdict Guide

I just want to clarify how I'm using these ratings so it doesn't come off as me being overly negative when I give out so many non-recommendations. The plan is to roughly have as many recommendations as not, rather than doing a 5 star system and and giving almost everything 3 stars. This system should be a little easier to decipher where I stand.

Strongly Recommend - I love this movie and will probably judge you a little if you don't.

Weakly Recommend - Either it's a flawed movie that I still enjoy or it's a very well-made movie that I didn't connect with for some reason.

Weakly Don't Recommend - I don't regret watching it. It was very watchable. I won't judge you if you like it, but I didn't care for it. In some cases, it may even be a well made movie that bothered me in way I can or can't explain.

Strongly Don't Recommend -The movie was a chore to watch or filled with too many issues to ignore. This is the only truly negative rating.

As for my monthly previews, this is the scale a use for that.

Excited - This is a movie that I'm actively looking forward to. I'm a lock to see it because I have high expectations for it.

Intrigued - There's a lot about this movie that draws me to it. There's something I don't trust about it though. I'm looking for any excuse to see it, but a little bad word of mouth or a busy schedule could get in the way.

Curious - I'm mostly undecided about this movie. There's at least one element that has me keeping an eye on it. Or maybe I just don't have a good enough idea what the movie even is yet.

Apathetic - I can't muster up a feeling about this movie. A gentle breeze could push me one way or the other about it.

Uninterested - I don't see the value in this film from what I know now. Maybe I need to learn more to be sure.

Repelled - I have no desire to see this movie. That doesn't mean I won't see it. It just means I won't be happy about it.
