The Ward brothers were four grown men with limited
educations who lived in a dilapidated house out in the country. People mostly
left them alone until one brother suffocated another one to death with a
pillow. What followed was a media circus that this documentary captures. It's a
quiet documentary. The documentarians stay out of the way for the most part. If
you can get used to the less flashy approach of documentaries at the time, then
this is a really good one with some odd characters and some interesting
discussion about class.
Verdict: Weakly Recommend
